During my Thanksgiving Break (2008) back from school, a couple of idiots decided they would grab a few christmas presents for their kids from my Acura Integra. They got away with my radar detector but they couldn’t get the radio out because it was strapped down in the back. This happened in broad daylight at 8am while my family and I were in the house. I had an alarm at the time, but the sirens weren’t working for some reason. Police Reports were filed and we found out the license plates of the truck. We now know where they live, but, legally, there is nothing we can do. Enjoy and remember, PROTECT YOUR TEG!
Radars along Emirates Roads can easily be detected by Escort Road Radar Detector. Some of the old big box road radar camera can be detected from 700 meters. But there’s 1 big box camera which can only be detected 200meters. The rest of the radar cameras in Emirates Road are detectable by at least 500 meters away.
Having a radar detector and/or gps camera detector is one thing. Knowing how to use them properly is entirely another matter. Always remember that your detection equipment are just tools. With this short video we demonstrate how to strategically think ahead of your radar detectors alert. Instant-on police radar and police laser is the most lethal form of police radar and knowing how to spot the potential ambush locations before it is too late is critically important to driving safely whilst remaining ticket free.
